This visa allows you to stay in Australia for up to 12 months and can be used for tourism, visiting family and friends, or a combination of both. You cannot work or engage in business activities while on this visa.

Medical Treatment Visa (subclass 602)

The Medical Treatment Visa (subclass 602) is for people who need to travel to Australia for medical treatment. This visa allows you to stay in Australia for up to 12 months and can be used for both medical treatment and recovery. You cannot work or engage in business activities while on this visa.


Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) (subclass 601)

The Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is an electronic visa that allows eligible travellers to enter Australia for tourism or business purposes. It is available to citizens of certain countries, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The ETA allows you to stay in Australia for up to 3 months at a time, and it can be used for multiple visits within a 12-month period. You cannot work or engage in business activities while on this visa.


Eligibility

To be eligible for a visitor visa, you must meet certain criteria, including:

  • Having a valid passport

  • Being of good health

  • Having enough funds to support yourself while in Australia

  • Having a good reason for your visit

  • Having no criminal convictions

Application Process
